The National Council of Negro Women, Inc. is open to all persons who share a commitment to empowering women of African descent, their families and communities. You MUST be a national member in order to join a section.

Through national programs and through the work of over 240 sections and 39 national affiliate organizations, NCNW helps women of African descent enhance their health, knowledge, and personal satisfaction and work to improve their communities.

Becoming a member of the National Council of Negro Women (NCNW) and Louisville Section connects you to a network of more than 300 campus and community-based sections and 32 national women's organizations of dedicated individuals committed to our mission to lead, advocate for, and empower women of African descent, their families, and communities.
Life and Legacy Life membership entitles you to invitations to exclusive events.

Membership year is from October 1st thru September 30th

Membership expires after September 30th
New Membership:
Total cost to join is $100 ($75 National membership and $25 section membership)
Renew Membership:
*Renew between January 1st thru May 31st for October 1st . Payments received after May 31st a $10 late fee will be applied. A total of $110 ($85 includes $10 late fee to National and $25 to section).
New Life Membership / Legacy Life Membership:
1. Life membership $1,025 ($1,000 National membership and $25 section membership)
2. Legacy Life Membership $1,525 ($1,500 National membership and $25 section membership)
